Community Celebrations

Many annual community celebrations along the Gorge Waterway are sponsored by GWI member groups, and typically attended by our members with the GWI display table, Info Sheets and other outreach materials.

Annual events may include:

Vic West Fest in Banfield Park (May, Vic West Community Association)
Selkirk Waterfront Festival (May, Burnside Gorge Community Association)
Oceans Day Festival at Fisherman's Wharf (June)
Canada Day Picnic on the Gorge (July 1st, Gorge Tillicum Community Association)
Gorge Swim Fest (August, Gorge Swim Fest Society)
