Rainbow Road Recreation Centre Master Plan

The Capital Regional District (CRD) Salt Spring Island Parks and Recreation Commission (PARC) is excited to announce that we have developed the final plan and the final report for the Rainbow Recreation Centre Site Master Plan. This project was identified as a priority in the 2019 Salt Spring Island Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan in response to the community's desire for increased access to indoor recreation facilities for residents and visitors.

The master plan assesses current and future capacity needs and identifies suitable expansion opportunities. This plan will also inform a phased capital planning approach for new facilities and program amenities.

The final plan has been developed by compiling the feedback from over eight months of community consultations. As a participant in the process, your input has been very important to us.

We invite you to view the final master plan and final report online.

We thank you for your involvement in the process!
