West Coast Spirit
by Maarten Schaddelee
Description
This stylized whale's tail has an orca relief on one side and eagle relief on other.
Artwork Statement
The stylized whales tail reminds us of a time in the 20th century when dozens of whaling ships called this harbour home. Now the orcas and eagles are honoured from an environmental perspective.
