Mountains Within Mountains
by Kent Laforme
Description
Two triangular marble forms in front of hotel.
Artwork Statement
The project idea was to create a piece to reference the origins or source of the material. The sculptures are based on line drawings of two mountains. They are like tubes of energy that allow the characteristics of the stone to come through as it is a simple form. They also reference the geometry in nature.
