International Threads
by Rueben Hall
Description
The front of the Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre's artworks were designed and the project coordinated by Rueben Hall, then painted by a group of students for an organization called the Children's International Summer Villages (CISV). Over 50 children and adults were involved in the organization and painting.
The mural reflects the diversity of the community and organizers were amazed to see how many people from outside Canada stopped to check if their country's flag was represented on the mural.
