Skating & Arena Activities

Ice Skates

Panorama Recreation Centre has two full-sized arenas waiting for you. Throughout the winter, various skating programs are offered, including figure skating, learn to skate and hockey for children. Adult hockey games take place many evenings.

In the late spring and summer, our arenas become ice free—a perfect setting for trade shows, public events, craft fairs or celebrations. Contact the Arena Coordinator for more information.

Adult Hockey

The Panorama Adult Hockey League provides an opportunity for persons 19 years of age and older to play recreational ice hockey. This league is designed for those who wish to play for fun, regardless of ability. Ice hockey can be a tremendous source of fun, fitness and camaraderie when played according to league rules and with the right attitude.

Teams are created through random selection, followed by some juggling of players based on ability. Our goal is to have the best possible balance of skill on each team. League schedules are also available at the Main Reception. Come join the fun!
