volunteers-branchesRegional Parks provides opportunities for you to be involved in the preservation and enjoyment of regional parks and trails with positions for naturalists, restoration volunteers, park stewards and trail ambassadors. There are also opportunities for groups to help with one-time, short-term projects such as park clean-ups, invasive species removal and plantings.

No Experience Necessary

We provide training, support, a fascinating and beautiful work environment and a great deal of appreciation. You provide your time and enthusiasm.

Current Volunteer Opportunities 

Restoration Volunteers

Participate in removing invasive species and restoration of natural habitats within regional parks and trails. Commitment is for one three-hour session. Sessions are offered throughout the year.

Naturalist Volunteers

CRD Parks Naturalist Volunteers help staff park Nature Centres during weekends and holidays. Volunteers speak to and educate the public about local ecosystems and all the treasures that can be found in CRD regional parks. Vulnerable sector check required and provided.
