SEAPARC seeking your input on food and beverage choices
SEAPARC is participating in the Stay Active, Eat Healthy initiative, in partnership with the BC Recreation Parks Association. This initiative is focused on increasing the provision of healthy food and beverages in municipal and community recreation facilities. The public is invited to complete this survey to help determine the future food and beverage choices at SEAPARC.
SEAPARC Land Acquisition Referendum
On April 30, 2016 residents of the District of Sooke and the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area voted in favour of purchasing land for the future development and enhancement of recreation services.
Preliminary Voting Results
The referendum passed. Bylaw 4052 will proceed to adoption by the CRD Board at its meeting on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Read more >>
SEAPARC made an offer to purchase the 23 acre property located at 6518 Throup Road (DeMamiel Creek Golf Course) subject to a referendum to be held on April 30th for Juan de Fuca and Sooke residents. Current playing fields and SEAPARC facilities are operating at full capacity and we have an opportunity to purchase the adjacent land. Read more >>

SEAPARC Strategic Planning Study
Thank you to everyone who participated in the SEAPARC Strategic Planning process. The SEAPARC Strategic Plan 2015 final report is now available. Several key initiatives identified in the process have been incorporated to SEAPARC’s plans for the next five years including a fitness gym expansion.
