In partnership with the Capital Regional Housing Corporation, the Regional Housing First Program is in the process of developing 1938 West Park Lane into a mixed-income community with 152 new housing units. West Park Lane is a proposed affordable housing development that will be completed in September 2021. This project will bring a total of 44 new affordable units to the Town of View Royal, including 20 that are accessible to those with disabilities. This brand-new apartment building features a universal design for ease of mobility, in-suite laundry, above-ground parking spaces and a charger for electric vehicles, secure bike parking with charging stations for e-bikes, and a playground for children.
