Green Roof
A growing medium was used over microfabric roof protection.
Permeable Paving

The roof surface and parking area are not impervious. After filtering through the greenroof or parking sub-structure, any excess stormwater is discharged to the adjacent Cecelia Creek. LEEDtm Gold certification is in process. The building also includes many energy saving, water saving and non-toxic building features.
Cost
$5.2 million project, funded by the City of Victoria, Canada-BC Infrastructure Program and many community businesses and individuals.
