Our beautiful Capital Region receives over 1,000mm of rain every year. Despite rainwater being a valuable resource, we often let it go down the drain as stormwater, where it can flood our streams and creeks, causing erosion and habitat loss. By collecting rainwater from our rooftops, we can slow the flow of water leaving our properties and use the water on our lawns and gardens to help replenish our groundwater.Harvesting rain water is an effective way to improve the health of our watersheds.
