  • Water Conservation Bylaw Changes

    The Capital Regional District (CRD) Board has approved an amendment to the Water Conservation Bylaw No. 4099 for the Regional Water Supply System (Greater Victoria) to regulate the use of water during the summer period. The changes to Bylaw No. 4099 will come into effect May 1, 2024.

  • 2024 policy changes at Hartland Landfill

    The Capital Regional District (CRD) Board has approved bylaw changes at Hartland Landfill, including new material bans, adjusted tipping fee structure, and increased bylaw fines. The changes to the Hartland Landfill Tipping Fee and Regulation Bylaw No. 3881 and Ticket Information Authorization Bylaw No. 1857 will come into effect in two phases in 2024.
