Event Information

Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)

Join CRD Regional Parks cultural programmer, Leslie McGarry, for an accessible walk at Francis/King Regional Park and discover a human history spanning thousands of years. Learn about the cultural significance of plants, animals and the seasons, and how First Peoples deeply respect, appreciate and celebrate gifts from forests, rivers, lakes and the sea.

Meeting place: Meet at the Francis/King Nature Centre off Munn Road.

Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
