Would you like to break out your acting skills and volunteer to participate in an Emergency Reception Centre Exercise? The City of Victoria is looking for volunteers to portray "evacuees" who have been displaced from their homes due to an apartment fire. As a volunteer "evacuee," you will receive helpful emergency preparedness information and the chance to see what a Reception Centre does, while providing Emergency Support Services (ESS) volunteers an opportunity to practice their skills.

ESS volunteers play an important role in our communities by helping evacuees forced from their homes by fire, floods, earthquakes or other emergencies.
