Resilient Region Exchange

May 03, 2019, 8:30am-10am

Songhees Wellness Centre

Event Information

Theme: Active Transportation
Co-host: Songhees Nation

Join us for the first meet-up of 2019, for a conversation about active travel. Participants will enjoy hot coffee, tea, light snacks and great conversation.

Building off 7 years of success, these free quarterly community events bring together business leaders, politicians, activists, bureaucrats, academics and community members. The goal is to profile those organizations, initiatives or spaces that contribute to a resilient, healthy and green capital region and to provide a space for attendees to forge new partnerships, incubate ideas, and develop projects.

Our co-host will share an update on the Songhees Wheelness program which encourages and supports all Songhees members to bike more often or try it for the first time—for transportation, recreation and fun!
