Wanting to grow some of your own food yet have no backyard?

Residents of the capital region who are beginner gardeners and reside in housing limited to patio and balcony container gardening are invited to attend a free 4.5hr introductory workshop on edible gardening.

**Please note**: workshop is designed for beginner gardeners who reside and are limited to patio/balcony container gardening and have access to an exterior hose bib water source. This workshop is not for backyard gardening. Participant must also be connected to the Sooke Lake Reservoir municipal water supply.

Workshop will cover the right variety of food plants to grow in containers and pots, the basics of plant nutrition, soil fertility and preparation, selecting suitable containers, and efficient ways to water plants.

Workshop will be held at the CRD Centre for Engagement - directly beside Starbucks in Centennial Square.

Seating is limited therefore one registration per household - please share your knowledge!
