The Capital Regional District (“CRD”) invites detailed proposals from individuals or companies (the "Proponents") in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents (CRD, RFP No. 2019-554).The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a proponent with the intent to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) to provide the services described in Appendix “A”.
The CRD provides small craft harbours (docks) at 12 locations in the Southern Gulf Islands and Swartz Bay. These harbours provide a vital link to island community residents and visitors by providing moorage, access points for supplies and mail delivery as well as for water taxies. The CRD is seeking proposals from individuals or companies to act as Wharfinger for the dock at
Lyall Harbour, Saturna Island.
NOTE: This RFP is for the Lyall Harbour Dock on Saturna Island only.
Wharfingers who respond to this initiative should have a good understanding of CRD Southern Gulf Islands Small Craft Harbours Regulation Bylaw No. 2844 and their amendments.
