NOI Title: Regional Water Supply (RWS) Development Cost Charge (DCC) Project – Phase 2

Capital Regional District

Notice is hereby given that Capital Regional District (the “CRD”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to continue with engineering consulting services for a Development Cost Charge (DCC) program for the Regional Water Supply (RWS) service for a term of two (2) years, with the possibility of a one (1) year extension, at an estimated value of $169,500.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, The CRD has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason(s):

  • A consultant with previous experience and detailed knowledge on the CRD’s existing Development Cost Charge program(s) is required to complete this scope of work.
  • To maintain consistency in and ensure compatibility with the existing and proposed CRD Development Cost Charge program(s).

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Shari McCreesh by email to smccreesh@crd.bc.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, June 22, 2022. CRD will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
