The Capital Regional District is using a design-bid-build project delivery model for the Residual Solids Pipes and Pump Stations project.  The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals to provide the CRD with professional design services on the Project.  Pursuant to the terms of this RFP, the CRD intends to select a Preferred Proponent and then negotiate a Contract with such professional design firm.

The Project is part of the Core Area Wastewater Treatment Project.
 
The Residual Solids Pipes and Pump Stations are a critical component of the Wastewater Treatment Project which is being completed to provide the CRD's Core Area with wastewater treatment that meets both provincial and federal wastewater regulations by the end of 2020. The CRD wishes to conduct a procurement process for consultant services to carry out this portion of the Work. The Services described in this RFP outline the project requirements and critical project milestones required to meet the overall project objective.
