BLENKINSOP CREEK SLOPE STABILIZATION AND HEADWALL REPAIRS

CONTRACT 20.21.03-01

  
INVITATION TO TENDER

Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for Blenkinsop Creek Slope Stabilization and Headwall Repairs, Contract 20.21.03-01 will be received by the General Manager, Parks & Environmental Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 625 Fisgard Street, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00:00 pm local time on July 13, 2021, at which time they will be opened in public.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include the following:

Repairs to the headwall at Blenkinsop Creek, support to sewer pipe, creek stabilization, and slope stabilization for Lochside trail, and addition of trail drain system.  In addition, asphalt will be removed and reinstated and a new fence installed adjacent to the trail.

Digital copies may be downloaded from www.crd.bc.ca/about/contracts-rfps/ and at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held at Lochside Trail near the intersection of Mackenzie Avenue and Borden Street at 2:00 pm, June 29, 2021.  It is strongly recommended that tenderers attend the meeting to familiarize themselves with the work requirements.
