The Manager, Housing Planning, Policy and Programs is responsible for leading a dynamic team in the delivery of a range of initiatives that work to address affordability and homelessness challenges across the capital region. This position, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Regional Housing, will provide their technical expertise and leadership to advance housing policy and various programs that will have a significant and immediate positive impact today while also looking to shape regional approaches to meeting housing need in the longer-term. The Manager, Housing Planning, Policy and Programs will oversee all components of assigned projects and is focused in the following key areas: 1. Project Management, Coordination & Research: 50% 2. Business & Team Development: 20% 3. Organisational & Program Administration: 30% This position requires an acceptable criminal record check. The applicant/incumbent will be required to undergo a criminal record check in order to work in this position and to report to their supervisor if any criminal charges are laid against them that may be related to their employment in this position.
