There is one contract position available at a rate of $4,766/month ($57,200/year) each. The Southern Gulf Islands Emergency Program supports community emergency management within the Southern Gulf Islands Electoral Area. The Emergency Program Coordinator facilitates the program on behalf of CRD Protective Services, managing day-to-day operations and providing leadership on resident education, volunteer management, stakeholder engagement, and emergency response. The contractor will be responsible for coordination of the Electoral Area Emergency Program, ensuring alignment with CRD emergency plans and developing community relationships with key stakeholders. This contract opportunity is ideal for people who are seeking to apply their previous emergency management training and experience to the Southern Gulf Islands.
