  • Intermittent blasting at Hartland Landfill

    As part of normal landfilling operations, intermittent blasting will take place at approximately 5:45pm on weekdays until the end of June 2019.

    Please expect minor traffic delays on Willis Point Road during blast days. For questions or additional information, please call 250.360.3410.


  • The Rainbow Road Aquatic Centre Pool will be closed for annual maintenance from April 1 – April 22, 2019

    Reception at the Centre will still be open Monday through Friday, 10am - 6pm for camp and program registrations. We look forward to seeing you back at the pool on April 23rd. For contact info, please visit our website. 

     

  • Trail Closure: Galloping Goose Regional Trail asphalt surface repairs

    On April 3 & 4 from 9am-3pm, there will be trail resurfacing between McKenzie Ave and Burnside Rd connector trail

    In an attempt to minimize the impact on trail users, the previously scheduled asphalt work for March 25 on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail near Interurban will now be completed as part of the April 3 and 4 scheduled work between Interurban and McKenzie. All work is being completed during 9am to 3pm, outside of peak commuting hours.

  • On Tuesday, April 2, 2019 between the hours of 8am and 4pm, the CRD will be carrying out annual maintenance and flushing of the water distribution system.

    During this maintenance, you may experience low water pressure and/or periods of discoloured water at your tap. Please refer to the Water Interruption Influenced Area Map attached. Read more >>


  • On Thursday, April 11, 2019 between the hours of 8am and 4pm, the CRD will be carrying out annual maintenance and flushing of the water distribution system

    As water to your property could be impacted during this period, residents may want to set

  • Construction on Lochside Regional Trail near Saanich

  • Viewing area closed at Sooke Potholes Regional Park

    Viewing area near Lodge site closed for public safety due to rock slides

    A portion of the viewing area at Sooke Potholes Regional Park is closed for public safety due to rock slides and concerns about potential slope instability in the area around the old lodge site (see attached map). There are several viewing platforms located to the north of the closed area that remain open to visitors. The public is reminded that the old lodge site remains closed for public safety. Visitors are asked to stay out of the closed area.
