1. European Green Crab Monitoring
In partnership with the DFO, ELSI volunteers monitor the lagoon for the highly invasive European Green Crab. Click here for more information.
2. Bee Creek Fish Monitoring
The Bee Creek Fish volunteers monitor the creek for cutthroat trout. Click here for more information.
3. Invasive Plant Removal
ELSI volunteers remove invasive plants around Esquimalt Lagoon, including thistle, blackberry, broom and other species.
4. Beach clean-ups
ELSI participates in clean-ups at Esquimalt Lagoon at various times throughout the year.
5. Dune Restoration
Between 2006-2013 ELSI worked with partners to restore dune habitat at the lagoon. Click here for more information.
