How to Report a Spill

A spill is a release or discharge of a substance that causes or may cause pollution.
NO SPILL IS TOO SMALL TO REPORT!
Large spills of any nature - call the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP) at 1.800.663.3456 (greater than 100 L). Spill reporting is regulated under the BC Spill Reporting Regulations.
Smaller spills - Contact your municipality. If you are not sure who to report to, call the CRD (250.360.3078) M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm or call PEP (24/7)
