The Railyards Development is a 13 townhouse and 4 mews unit residential/multi family development in Victoria West which was completed in 2006.
Rainwater Management Techniques
Techniques used include vegetated bioswales, unit pavers as walkway edging and rain chains at front entries which make movement of roof water visible.
Small footprint homes and narrow roads also reduce the amount of impervious area per unit.
Cost & Funding
Cost was $1.75 million, and funding was private.
