The ocean outfall is located in North Saanich, and is a part of the municipality road right of way.
Rainwater Management Technique
Bioswales
A failing, bottomless culvert was replaced with a naturalized channel. Work was done to address bank erosion, capture sediments and improve the aesthetics of the area.
While this is an end of pipe solution rather than an on-site solution, it is a softer approach and represents an innovation for this region.
