Mountain Equipment Co-op is a three storey, mixed use residential and commercial building which contains 46 residential units. It was a private retrofit completed in the Spring of 2006.

Rainwater Harvesting/Reuse
Rainwater capture and reuse is being employed for toilet flushing. A total storage capacity of 5682 litres is available under the sidewalk.
The use of rainwater and dual flush toilets has reduced water use by 48%.
The building has achieved LEEDtm silver certification.
