Grassed bioswales near the apartment building at the intersection of Elk Lake Drive and Royal Oak Drive direct any excess stormwater to a vegetated depression for infiltration and uptake.
Porous Paving
Porous pavers in parking areas, sidewalks and driveways are used to increase the amount of rainwater that can enter the groundwater system through natural subsurface discharge and disposal.
Underground Storage
Detention and infiltration at sub-surface through 18 Emco brand drainage groupings.
