Gorge Waterway Park
Gorge Waterway Park is a 4. ha site owned by the municipality and accessible to the public. It was completed in 2003 and is located in Saanich.
Rainwater Management Techniques Used
Underground Storage
Underground sand bed storage cells were installed to receive stormwater from a new parking and driveway area. The cells are a plastic infiltration-chamber style.
Bioswale
A single bioswale directs any excess stormwater from the new parking area to a vegetated depression for infiltration and uptake before it enters the marine environment.
