Solid Waste Management Plan
The British Columbia Waste Management Act (now the Environmental Management Act) requires that regional districts undertake the responsibility for solid waste management within their boundaries. Under the act, all regional districts were required to submit to the province a new or revised solid waste management plan by December 31, 1995.
