2. In your opinion, where are the most dangerous/difficult areas to bicycle in the region (please be specific as possible)?
3. In your opinion, what (if any) conditions have you encountered that you feel make walking difficult in the region?
4. In your opinion, what locations could bicycling and walking be greatly enhanced with a little attention. What improvements would you suggest?
We are looking for the ‘low lying fruit’ for this one. Please be as specific as possible.
5. Are there priority locations for bicycle and/or pedestrian facilities as part of a Safe Routes to Schools network?
6. Are there any priority gaps in the system where a small connection would complete a long continuous bicycle or pedestrian facility?
7. What areas do you consider to be major walking/ biking destinations (ie: the downtown core, UVic Camosun,) and do you feel that there are comprehensive walking/biking facilities to get to those locations?
8. The Galloping Goose and the Lochside Trail were orignally "linear parks" focusing on recreation, however they have become vital transportation corridors for commuters. Do you have any concern about the dual role the trails now play?
9. Do you have specific safety concerns regarding conflicting uses by the various modes using the trail (ie: cyclists, pedestrians, motor assisted cycles or motorized scooters)?
