Trail Walkers

trail walker

Panorama's Trail Walkers meet weekly in a variety of beautiful spots within the Capital Regional District. We walk, hike and enjoy the outdoors. Hikes are moderately paced, last for 2 1/2 hours, and begin at 9 am at a different location each week. Walks proceed rain or shine. Car pooling is encouraged, with participants often meeting at a central location and carpooling to the trail head. Come out and enjoy the changing seasons, meet new friends and practice fitness in a social environment.

Historical and ecological facts on each area are also explored in the walks by Karen Reid, a Naturalist with advanced degrees in Biology and Zoology. Karen has worked as an Interpreter for BC Parks and for the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary.

Please bring a water bottle, snack, sturdy walking shoes, camera if you wish.
