The First Night New Year's Eve Family Celebration is an annual event sponsored by Panorama Recreation and Peninsula Celebrations Society.

This great event featured Soul 62 R&B band, Bill Kent's Jellyfish Jam Band as well as numerous activities including swimming, skating, crafts, bouncy castle and Fireworks (9:45pm). The grand prize was a Family Camping Package generously donated by Robinson's Outdoor Store.  This package included a 4 person tent, 4 sleeping bags, 4 Thermarest mats, 4 daypacks and 4 bottles.
