IMPORTANT: People interested in working at the pool must be certified as a lifeguard and swim instructor.

Swim Instructor Courses

  • Assistant Water Safety Instructor Course (15yrs+)
  • Water Safety Instructor Course (16 yrs+)

Lifeguard Courses

  • Bronze Medallion (13 yrs+)
  • Bronze Cross (13 yrs+)
  • Standard First Aid (12 yrs+)
  • National Lifeguard Service – Pool Option (16 yrs+)

Please note: You do not require your NLS Waterpark Option. Only Saanich Commonwealth Pool requires this award.
