The Pacific Marine Circle Route (PMCR) passes through the Capital and Cowichan Valley Regional Districts (CRD & CVRD) beginning and ending at exit 14 from the Trans Canada Highway. Within the CRD, the majority of the route is within the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area (JdF EA). The entire route is about 255 kilometers (153 miles) in length and can be comfortably visited in a 2 to 4 day period. There are also many opportunities for great day trips from Victoria and the rest of the South Island.

Our site details the attractions and tells a bit of the history of the section of the PMCR within the JdF EA. The information will be useful for anyone, visitor or resident, who wants to develop a detailed itinerary to ensure they have the opportunity to see and experience all the area has to offer. As well, we’ve included information about parks and other sights easily accessed from the route. There’s limited information about places to stay from campgrounds to luxury resorts and food from fine restaurants to grocery stores. Links to other resources provide the information needed to ensure our visitors have an enjoyable time.

We encourage our visitors to provide comments and suggestions about our site as a whole or the individual points of interest described. These may be posted on our bulletin board. Naturally, we reserve the right to edit all material posted for content, brevity and accuracy. If you’re planning to visit the area and have unanswered questions, please contact us.
