Salt Spring Island Emergency Program Advisory Commission (SSIEPAC)
Vision
The Salt Spring Island emergency Program Advisory Commission (SSIEPAC) has been established under bylaw 3752 for the purpose of stengthening Salt Spring Island's community resilience to large emergencies and disasters. The Advisory Commission's primay focus is to build an effective island-wide network of support between residents, community services, and local emergency agencies.

The Commission is involved in the strategic planning and operational overview of the Salt Spring Island Emergency Program. The program is supported by local and regional staff, as well as volunteers:

The local program is an extension of the CRD Protective Services Emergency Coordinating Committee (ECC).
Meetings
